We presently use an analog 2-way radio system. How is your Digital system different?
In most cases, your analog radios talk from 1 tower at a time. If you are out of range of the main site, you have to switch channels to utilize other systems. The ComClear system automatically roams to the strongest tower site without user intervention.

We presently use 2-way radios, can my current radios be used on the digital system?
The answer is usually no. However, we offer great trade-in credits that allow you to get new equipment with a new warranty.

Why should we use the ComClear system instead of cell phones?
Cell phones have their place, but many companies realize that with the use of two-way radios, they are in touch with everyone, ALL DAY, not just when you call them or they call you.

Is there any way to tell where my vehicles and employees are?
Mobile radios along with portable radios have the ability to have GPS locations transmitted automatically. It is an optional feature, but it works very well. The location of the unit is transmitted every time the radio is keyed up, and there is also a poll time that can be set up to get locations and pre-set intervals. You can also see when the ignition is turned off or on. This is all logged for later review. This option requires optional software.

Can I test coverage before I purchase?
We can provide demonstration radios for coverage tests after you speak to a sales representative. We want to make sure the coverages meet your needs before you go ahead with the purchase.

I have a unit that goes out of your coverage area, what options do I have?
We have an application that allows you to operate that unit from a cell phone and they can talk to the entire fleet from anywhere there is internet access.

Do I have to pay for the entire system when I only need a certain area?
No, we work with you to find the coverage that meets your needs. In cases where you need to expand coverage to another area, we can enable it for the duration of time you specify.

Can I have my drivers take credit cards from our customer after the job is complete?
Yes, there are software and hardware options that allow this to be accomplished safely and securely.

If a radio is lost/stolen, do you have to reprogram them all? I don’t want anyone else to hear my company communications.
No, you simply tell us the serial number of the radio in question, and we will disable it. If the radio is later found, we can re-enable it without you having to bring the unit to the office.

We have a dispatcher out of your coverage area, can you connect back to our central dispatch point?
Yes! We have the ability to connect from anywhere there is internet connectivity.
